This collection of songs is inspired by the portrayal of space in cinema and the science fiction genre as a whole. From films like Under the Skin, Blade Runner, and Ex Machina, to 2001: A Space Odyssey, Ad Astra, and Alien, my continued exploration of synth-based music is entirely influenced by cinematic images. These particular tracks were specifically created thinking of formal techniques like the tracking shot and how often science fiction films tend to follow human or Earth-bound characters thrust into inhuman, unearthly situations. The sensation of watching, and being watched by, the cosmos is one that we'll never be free of.
